Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in monthly closing procedures
  • Prepare monthly journals
  • Assist in balancing between production module and general ledger
  • Perform account analysis including investigation of significant account fluctuations
  • Review, investigate and correct errors and inconsistencies in journal entries
  • Check monthly board package and supplemental reports for accuracy
  • Run and check monthly P&L reports for field regions
  • Maintenance of general ledger accounts
  • Assist with quarterly and annual governmental reporting
  • Work with other departments to complete various ad hoc requests
  • Perform related duties as requested by the supervisor

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Proficient PC skills in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage large amounts of information
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet multiple deadlines
  • Team player with strong, detail-oriented analytical abilities

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 1+ year of accounting or accounting-related experience

  • Frequently: sitting, sense of touch, manual dexterity, speaking clearly, reading, hearing-speech range.
  • Constantly: seeing.
